About David...

Having put the foundation in place for a substantial residual income, David retired from corporate life at the enviable age of 33. Married with two young daughters, David’s background is as an Engineer and Manager.  He holds a New Zealand Certificate in Electronics and Computer Technology, a Diploma in Management from the University of Auckland and has all but completed his Master of Management.  He is a qualified member of the New Zealand Institute of Management and a member of the National Speakers Association of New Zealand.

David now entertains and educates audiences around New Zealand , causing them to challenge their current beliefs and enabling them to discover the principles allowing people from all backgrounds to retire young and rich.

Having previously held several Senior Management and Company Director positions David’s last role was as a General Manager for a successful construction company where he had 60 people reporting directly to him.

“I watched people in that business who had worked hard for 50 years in their career, not being able to retire because they couldn’t afford it.  What sort of reward is that for 50 years effort” recalls David.

Hard work is one of the keys to success, but it doesn’t have to take you a lifetime to get there.  To dramatically shorten this timeframe you must work hard on something that will reward you in proportion to your efforts, which is where most people come up short.  They spend their lives working hard on a system that has a 95% failure rate.

“After a while I realised the problem with the corporate ‘rat’ race is, that even if you win you are still a rat!” laughs David.  “It was only after climbing the corporate ladder for 10+ years that I realised it was leaning against the wrong wall.  Although I was earning a good six figure income with a nice company car, I had no time to enjoy life.”

After looking for several years at numerous business and investment opportunities, his brother-in-law Steve, a retired property investor, approached David with an opportunity to go into business together.  Having managed several successful businesses, David knew after reviewing the proposal that this was an opportunity not to be missed.

David now enjoys working part-time from his beautiful waterfront property.   “I don’t miss the motorway traffic, my commute to the office now takes me just 20 seconds down an uncrowded hallway” jokes David.

David enjoys expensive toys, with his new HSV Clubsport being the latest edition to the toy box.  Fishing is another passion and he claims it’s even better now he can enjoy the beaches mid-week when they are far less crowded.

Helping others achieve their dreams has become a passion for David, maybe he holds the key to your financial future also.
